Stratford Man Charged With DUI After Crashing Into Parked Car, Police Say

An allegedly drunk local man has been arrested and charged following a motor vehicle incident that occurred Thanksgiving Day in Milford.

Milford Police responded to the incident, which occurred after 1:00 a.m. 37-year-old Brandon Medeiros of Stratford was driving on Clark Street near Tower Street when he allegedly struck a parked and unoccupied vehicle.

Upon investigation, Medeiros was arrested, and after the subject provided a breath sample, it was confirmed that he had been driving with an elevated blood alcohol content.

Medeiros was charged with DUI and failure to drive right. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, Dec. 20.
